Margaret Elizabeth Bladen

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Bladen, 95, of Frederick, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late James E. Bladen, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Born July 18, 1922 in Carnegie, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Louisa (Solomos) Brubaker.

Margaret is survived by her children, Carol Ann Miers and James Robert Bladen, step-daughter, Felecia Strivers, step-great-children, Wesley Strivers and Lauren Strivers, sister-in-law, Gertrude Langford, brother-in-law, Johnny Bladen, nieces, Carly Miers, Cassidy Miers-Rickrode and Mary Frances "Mitzie" Manjoras.

The family will receive friends from 9am to 10am, on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will follow at 10:00AM. Pastor John Seay will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville.
