Delores Madeline Hahn, 88, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on December 21, 2017 at Homewood in Frederick. She was the wife of the late John Abner Hahn.
Born in Frederick on May 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Maurice C. Easton and Dorothy (Ecker) Easton Carmack Yinger. Delores was a faithful member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Frederick and the Friendly Circle Sunday School Class. She will be remembered for her involvement in many activities of the church, playing the piano, singing in the Gospel Choir and she brought much joy to others playing at many nursing homes. Delores was also an avid pool player at Crestwood Village where she resided for the last 12 years. Prior to that she lived in Feagaville in the home her husband built for them.
She had numerous jobs before starting a family and later retired after 21 years as the office manager at Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Delores is survived by her two daughters, Linda D. Fauvie of Villa Rica, Georgia and Cindy A. Mills of Frederick and husband, David; four grandchildren, Angie (Fauvie) Robinson and husband, Todd, Stefanie (Mills) Harris and husband, Stephen, Laura (Mills) Miller and husband, Steve, and Thomas Mills; five great-grandchildren, Chris (Robinson) Rice, Savannah Robinson, Emily Harris, William Harris and Charlotte Miller; several nephews and two treasured friends, Mary and Connie.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Lillian Tomanio and Evelyn Wise, and by brothers; Donald Easton and Maurice Easton.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 W. Second Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. A funeral service will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
