Jerry Lee Cleaver

Mr. Jerry Lee Cleaver, Sr., 67, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at his home. He was the husband of Paula Potter Cleaver. Born in Cawood, KY, on June 14, 1950, he was a son of the late Charles Cleaver and Loretta Spurlock Baumgardner. Jerry worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and  truck driver.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jerry L. Cleaver, Jr., and Jennifer, Darryl Dextradeur and Tammy, David Dextradeur and Kristen, Jeffrey Cleaver, Jarrett Cleaver and Sara, one brother, Freddie Cleaver and Barbara, one sister, Patricia Porter, several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son. Ronnie Lee Cleaver and two brothers, Eddie and Frankie Cleaver.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the New Market United Methodist Church Cemetery.
