Susan Palmer Corselius

Mrs. Susan Palmer Corselius, 78, of Frederick, was ushered into the presence of her Savior on Friday, December 29, 2017.  She was the wife of Neil Palmer Corselius for 55 years.

Born July 28, 1939, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Dick) Palmer.

Susan graduated from the Polyclinic School of Nursing in Harrisburg, PA.  She was a nurse at the York Hospital, York, PA and the Tompkins County Hospital, Ithaca, NY until starting a family. She was an excellent wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She showed the love of Christ to everyone around her, and her smile and infectious laughter would light up any room.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, David Corselius and wife Cheryl and Julie Gerard and husband Jeffrey ; grandchildren, Kathryn Corselius, Caleb Corselius, Madelyn Gerard, Ethan Gerard, Grace Gerard and Ian Gerard; and numerous cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at People's Baptist Church, 6648 Carpenter Road, Frederick, MD 21703.  Dr. Kent Ramler will officiate.  A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the People's Baptist Church or Frederick Christian Academy at the above address.
