Susan Lynn Kopper

Mrs. Susan Lynn Kopper, 73, of Wormans Mill in Frederick, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Edenton Retirement Community.  She was the wife of Michael Kopper, Sr. for 55 years.

Born March 14, 1944 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Jules and Judith (Cooperman) Hollander.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Stacy Allwein and husband Robert, grandchildren, Emily Allwein, Michael Allwein, Shawn Kopper Jr., Brandon Kopper, and Haley Kopper, brother, Eugene Hollander and

wife Lynda, brother-in-laws, Dr. James Kopper and wife Miriam and Kevin Kopper, sister-in-law, Kathleen Diehn and husband Dr. Karl, numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Kopper Jr. and Shawn Kopper Sr. and in-laws, Andrew Kopper and wife Mary.

The family will receive friends from 3pm to 7pm, on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 9190 Church Street, Libertytown, MD 21791, the family will receive friends an hour prior at 10:00AM. Father Chuck Wible will officiate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, MD 21702.
