Joseph Michael "Mike" Remsburg

Joseph Michael “Mike” Remsburg, 56, of Thurmont, died on Monday, February 12, 2018. Born August 30, 1961, in Frederick, he was a son of Jeannette Ellen Stockman Remsburg, of Thurmont, and the late Frederick Hayes Remsburg. Mike worked in farming for many years, and more recently as a landscaper. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved being around animals.

Besides his mother, he is survived by two children, Cassandra Remsburg and Josh, of Harper’s Ferry, WV and Michael James Remsburg and Kristy, of Michigan; three granddaughters and numerous sisters, a brother, in-laws as well as nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife, Anne Kubit, of Virginia.

There will be no visitation or services and interment will be private. The Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick is in charge of arrangements and condolences may be shared with the family at keeneybasford.com.
