Joan Mary Geiger

Mrs. Joan Geiger, age 82, longtime resident of Heritage Harbor in Annapolis, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD. She was the wife of the late Edward Geiger. Born on November 19, 1935 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Hartmann) McGinley.Mrs. Geiger loved playing bingo and bridge. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, particularly cherishing the time they spent in Alaska.Mrs. Geiger was the loving mother of Karen Kordell and Frank Geiger; the grandmother of Luke, Peter, Alexander, Gordon, Dennis and Samuel; and the great-grandmother of Luke, Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Claire Mason and brother Leonard McGinley.All services will be private.
