Barbara Ellen Kline

Barbara Ellen Kline, 81, of Union Bridge, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her residence. Born July 22, 1936 to the late Adison and Edna Marie (nee O’Brien) Hoffman. She was the beloved wife to the late Thomas L. Kline whom she was married to for 48 years.

Barbara was a member of the Union Bridge Church of the Brethren. Some of her hobbies included crochet, sewing, reading, and doing puzzles. Barbara was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Mickey T. Kline and companion Patricia Abel, her daughter, Pearl Tracey, her brothers  Lyle Hoffman, and his wife Margaret, and Marty Finfrock, her grandchildren; Mikey T. Kline Jr., Robert L., Scott J. Long, Margaret Long and Tiffany E. Tracey; her great-grandchildren, Nova, Scott Jr., Cheyenne, Shelby, Damien, Aden, Olivia, Mary and Autumn, her special friend Tammy Baker and her children; Angelique, Hailey, and Jasmine Baker, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Theresa Kline, her son Scott Kline, her sister Dorothy Kline, and granddaughter Bridgette Mellema.

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 1pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery
