Gilmer Tobias Castle Iii

Mr. Gilmer Tobias Castle III, 71, of Frederick, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Transitions Health Care, Sykesville. He was the husband of the late Sandra (Reinmuth) Castle.

Born October 12, 1946, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Gilmer Tobias and Evelyn (Young) Castle Jr.

He was a volunteer firefighter for more than 30 years with Independent Hose Company. Gilmer worked for over 20 years at the Sears warehouse until it closed. He also worked for Tim May and Bill Boone as a security guard. In his later years, he worked for Leggetts and the FSK mall in the maintenance department.

Gilmer is survived by his children, Robert Castle Sr., Danielle Castle and husband Keith Shorb and Jennifer Pryor and husband James, grandchildren, Brittany Castle, Robert Castle Jr., Keely Shorb, Jordan Pryor and Cameron Pryor, great-grandchildren, Kaden Booth, LaRyee Thomas, Alaina Castle and Cavan Flemming.
