Joan C. Geiman

Mrs. Joan C. Geiman, 83, of Adamstown, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at her home. She was the wife of Robert H. Geiman, Jr. They were married for 63 years. Born in Washington, DC on March 22, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Thelma Luskey Goodrich. Joan had worked for several years as a settlement officer in Real Estate.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Dale B. Geiman, of Thurmont, Richard L, Geiman and wife Monnah, of Silver Spring and Diane E. Geiman and her partner, Carol R. Rathburn, of Bowie. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Annie Lee Geiman.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Pastor Charles Rice, will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory, to a charity of ones choice, relating to cancer.
