Betty Jane Cannon

Mrs. Betty Jane Cannon, 91, of Frederick, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Cannon, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Born August 31, 1926 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Keyser) Clem.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by her daughter, Patricia Harley and husband Mick, son, Maris Cannon, grandsons, Andy Harley, Brandon Cannon and Aaron Cannon and fiance Stephanie Kapsch, sister, Margaret Dutrow, brother, Walter "Junior" Clem, sister-in-laws, Mayetta Stull, Doris Cannon and Mildred Clem, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred Cain, Dorothy Jacobs and David Clem.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Faith United Church of Christ, 9333 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Rev. Katie Penick will officiate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
