Anna Margaret Smith

Mrs. Anna Margaret Smith, 74, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Meritus Hospital. She was a resident of Ravenwood Nursing Home.

Born on June 11, 1943, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Charles I. Turner and Anna Margaret Mowery Turner.

Anna had worked for the Village Restaurant of Frederick as a cook and some other restaurants before her retirement.

Surviving are her children, William "Billy" S. Smith Sr. of Boonsboro, Albert "Frankie" F. Smith of Hagerstown and Leslie C. Smith of Hagerstown; two brothers, Carroll I. Turner and Paul V. Turner; and many nieces and nephews; especially niece, Diana L. Long of Frederick.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Smith; brother, Robert C. Turner Sr. and sister, Rosalie A. Long.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Mt. Olivet Mausoleum, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Inurnment will follow.
