John Robert Morningstar

Mr. John Robert Morningstar, 75, of Frederick, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.  He was the husband of Barbara (Peters) Morningstar.

Born August 15, 1942 in York, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Letha (Hoffman) Morningstar.

John is survived by his daughters, Shonna Morningstar, Judith Morningstar, Jean Cover and Sherry Gaines, step children Kym Brown, Karen Machikas, Karla Trythall and Brian Densel, brother, Steven Morningstar, sister, Linda Heckert, 20 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  Rev. Charles Rice will officiate.  Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
