James "Jerry" Dalton

Mr. James Jeremy Dalton, known to many as “Jerry”, passed away on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.  Born February of 1975 in Germantown, Maryland he was the son of Mr. James Flemen Dalton, Jr. and the late Deborah Jean Umphres. He was the husband of Trish Beth Dalton.

Jerry worked in flooring sales and installation for most of his life. He was a diehard Cow Boys football fan, and enjoyed RC Cars. He was a devoted member of Narcotics Anonymous where he attended meetings locally in Frederick.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Ciera Hill Dalton, son, Andrew James Dalton, sisters, Tina Thews and husband dean, Amy Lynn Warfield and husband Frankie, brother, Christopher M. Gaither and wife Victoria. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Greg Umphres.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 5 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church St, Frederick, MD, where family and friends will share their remembrances of Jerry at 5:30 PM.
