Jerry Lewis Ketterman, Sr.

July 11, 1941 — June 4, 2018

Jerry Lewis Ketterman Sr. 76, of Frederick passed away peacefully on June 4, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry (Ira) Arthur Ketterman and his mother Dorothy U. Ford Ketterman. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Henry and his twin brother Larry and one great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Judy Ann Ketterman, brother Gary Ketterman Sr., sisters Margaret Blank and Betty Rowe, daughter Tammy Wilhelm, son Joe Ketterman and Terree Long, son Jerry (Buck) Ketterman and Sherry Stoner, and son Jimmy Ketterman, and 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was a union carpenter with Local 1145 for over 40 years and after his retirement drove for Carquest Auto Parts for 10 years.

Jerry‘s main enjoyments were bingo scratch off tickets, eating at Golden Corral with all of his special friends, McDonald’s with his early morning friends and watching the Baltimore Orioles.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the entire staff of Hospice of Frederick County.

Viewing will be held at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home located at 106 East Church Street Frederick Maryland for friends and family on Thursday June 7, 2018 and Friday June 8, 2018 from 6pm til 8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10 am.
