Jean Virginia Boone

Mrs. Jean Virginia Boone, 81, of Frederick, left this earth to be with the lord, she passed peacefully on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.  She was the wife of the late Charles E.Boone.

She was born May 13, 1937 in Frederick, MD.

Jean is survived by her children and their spouses; Vicky and Gary Geisler of Mt. Airy, Carol and Ronnie Smith of Frederick, Roger Lee and Diana Boone of Clear Spring, Penny and John Ruthvin of Frederick, Mark and Tammy Boone of Williamsport, Beverly and Bill Sheetz of Hansonville, Susan Boone of Laurel and Darlene and Cole Younger of Tennessee, grandchildren; Wendy Parrish of Myersville, Nicole and Michael Mock of Frederick, Christopher and Lindsay Ruthvin of Frederick, Jamie Geisler of Taneytown and Michael and Brittany Geisler of Woodbine, great-grandchildren; Ethan Parrish, Jerimaya Myers, Jadha Myers, Ashlyn Ruthvin, Jordhan Myers, Juliahanna Myers, Jocellynn Myers, Wren Mock, Noah Ruthvin, Blake Skoblov and Paislee Geisler, fondly remembered by Frank and Brenda Cappella, Betty Young, Harold and Sharon Boone, Jennie Doody and Donna Hicks.

Jean was preceded in death by mother; Eva Stride, son; Michael Boone, granddaughters; Shannon Boone, Amy Geisler and cousin; Gracie Wachter.

The viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm, on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to defer the cost of the funeral expenses.
