Norma O. Mccain

Mrs .Norma Orsini McCain, 92, of Adamstown passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of George McCain who passed away in 2009. Born in Mingo Junction, Ohio on September 27, 1925 she was the beloved daughter of the late Nicola and Donata Cipolla Orsini.

Mrs. McCain worked as an administrative assistant for the federal government. She had a great love for people, and in her spare time enjoyed socializing with her family and friends. For the past twelve years she has been a member of St. Joseph on Carrolton Manor Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Gaines and husband Brandon, Susan Gursky and husband Gregg, and Debra McCain, Grandsons, Graham Gursky, Alex Gaines, Jeffrey Gaines, Colin Gaines, and Dylan Gaines, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD, 21701.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, 5483 Manor Woods Rd, Frederick, MD, 21703 at 10 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Directly following there will be a luncheon held at the parish hall at the church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Frederick County Hospice, P.O.
