Patricia Ellen Cashell

December 11, 1945 — July 20, 2018

Mrs. Patricia Ellen (McGuinness) Cashell, age 72 formerly of Frederick, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born on December 11, 1945 in Washington DC she was the daughter of the late John Michael and Mary Gertrude (Pope) McGuinness.

Mrs. Cashell had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed volunteer work particularly a mission trip in Mexico that she remembered fondly. Throughout her life, Mrs. Cashell worked many jobs ranging from being a bartender to a secretary.

Mrs. Cashell was the mother of Charles Edward Cashell and Claire Ellen Cashell Schell and husband Mark, the grandmother of Ashley, Chaz, Joseph, and Ellie, and the greatgrandmother of Orlando, Antonio, Gabriel, Lilliana, Elena, Kai and Daniel. She is also survived by her siblings Elizabeth Jane McGuinness, Dennis Kevin McGuinness and James Daniel McGuinness. Mrs. Cashell is preceded in death by her siblings John Michael McGuinness, Jr., Margaret Eileen Seyedin, and Marc Francis McGuinness.

All services and interment will be private. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Cashell's name to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
