Glen Arthur Bolin

Glen Arthur Bolin, 77, of Frederick passed suddenly on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Born February 14, 1941 in Indiana to the late James Adam and Helen Carolyn Bolin (nee Anderson). He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Caroline Bolin.

Glen grew up in Plymouth, Indiana and would go on to graduate from Purdue University with a bachelors of science in electrical engineering. He was a long serving member of the First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy. As well as a former member of the Army Reserves.

He was a family man who cared deeply for his family. Glen enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. In his free time he also enjoyed amateur radio and was a member of American Radio Relay League.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; his daughters Melanie Peterson (Jason) and Sarah Harper (Robert), grandchildren; Kristen, Robert, and Alexa Harper and Brian and Matthew Peterson, and siblings Barbara Ogden and Don Bolin. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Charles Bolin.

Friends and family may gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Friday August 24, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral service will take place at the Frederick Presbyterian Church, 115 West 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
