Sandra Sharlene Simpson

Sandra Sharlene Simpson, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018, at home. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Wenner. She was born in Maryland on December 12, 1953., she was a daughter of the late Cory and Ruth Ellen Johnson.
She had worked for the Hughes Network Systems, as an Import and Export Compliance Officer.
Surviving is her son, James C. Wenner, of Hagerstown and two granddaughters, Sierra Wenner and Miranda Muir. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Lynn Ernst.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, August 31, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
