Pedro Francisco Negron

Pedro Francisco Crespi Negron passed away peacefully in his home on Friday August 31st, 2018. Pedro was born to Francisco and Catalina Negron on November 19th,1934 in the town of Manati Puerto Rico. While growing up in Puerto Rico he attended college where he studied Civil Engineering and was an active member of the fraternity Phi Epsilon Chi. He was also an active member of the band and played the trumpet.

At a young age he moved to New York where he met and then married the love of his life Rafaela Negron. Together they had two beautiful children Rosalie and Peter. While in New York Pedro worked as a taxi driver and then worked in the postal service where he became a Post Master. During his life Pedro worked hard to care for his family. While he loved his job his heart was always with his family first.

In his later years he adopted his 4 grandchildren and raised them to be the adults they are today. Poppi as he was known by many, was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was always able to make you smile and had a joke up his sleeve. He is survived by his son and 4 grandchildren. Pedro will be greatly missed as he was a wonderful member of his family. The family asks that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
