Emma Joann Kehne

Mrs. JoAnn Dorcus Kehne, age 88 of Frederick, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Max Stanley Kehne.  Born on January 11, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lola Dorcus of Woodsboro.

Mrs. Kehne was a very friendly and smiling lady.  She had many friends and loved traveling, cooking and gardening.  She graduated from Frederick High School and worked a 22 year career as a secretary at Middletown Elementary School.  She loved all her family Schnazers especially her special "Katie".

Mrs. Kehne is survived by her children, Jeffry Dorcus Kehne, and Emy Jo K. Keller and husband Chaz, grandchildren Max Ann Keller and Chase Keller and wife Lauren, greatgrandson Chance Keller, nephews Steve Dorcus, Andy Dorcus, Harry Dorcus, and David Kehne and a niece Susan Kreh and numerous great nieces and nephews.  She will also be fondly remembered by her special friends Joyce Rowe and Peg Cole.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kehne is also predeceased by her sons Michael Kehne and Kim Kehne, her sister Barbara Dorcus Kreh, and her nephews David Dorcus and Roy Dorcus

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 9-11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E.
