Franklin Pierce Snodgrass, Iii

Mr. Franklin Pierce Snodgrass III, 78, formerly of Middletown, died Tuesday September 18, 2018, at his home in Dover, Delaware. He was the loving husband of the late Louise Virginia Snodgrass.
Franklin was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on November 21, 1939 and was the son of the late Franklin P. Snodgrass and Florence Snodgrass.
“Frank” worked for more than thirty years in data processing and insurance with most of that time employed as a Vice President with Grangers Mutual Insurance Company in Middletown.
He enjoyed politics, especially supporting and sharing in Louise’s long-time political career. In addition to politics, Frank enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, history, football and watching old westerns.
Frank served as an Airman Second Class in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960.
He is survived by his two loving children, Anne Snodgrass of Baltimore and Mark Snodgrass of Mt. Airy.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Monday, September 24, 2018, at the Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, MD 21769. Family will also receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
