Mary Jane Alice Kemp

Miss. Mary Jane Alice Kemp, age 94 of Frederick passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Montevue Assisted Living, Frederick. Born on January 1, 1924 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Wallace) Kemp.

Miss. Kemp was a graduate of Frederick High School. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Frederick and also worked as a parish secretary for over 30 years. She was a life member and past regent of Catholic Daughters as well as a life member of the Montevue Auxiliary and was a girl scout leader. She loved animals and volunteered at the animal shelter. Lastly she enjoyed traveling and loved her family.

Miss. Kemp is survived by her nieces and nephew, Holly, Milton, Jr., Lisa, and Alice her sister-in-law Vergie Kemp and many other great nieces and nephews and family members. She will be remembered by her longtime dear friend Charlotte Dinsmore. She is preceded in death by her brother Wallace Kemp, her sister Doris Hahn & her husband Milton, Sr. and her nephew Michael Hahn and her beloved dog Muffy.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 9 AM at the Keeney & Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
