Betty Yvonne Winpigler

Mrs. Betty Yvonne (Aunt Bonnie) Feaga Winpigler, 72, of Frederick, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of Adrian "Abe" Winpigler.

Born July 15, 1946 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Audra Bussard Feaga.

Betty was very proud to be an eighth generation resident of Frederick County on both sides of her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Loretta Stitley, Kathy Renn (John) and Patti Strong, nephews and nieces; Chip Stitley (Jan), Jake Renn (Becky), Rachel Fisher (Brian), Jaclyn Smith, Shane Strong (Laura) and Jesse Strong (Jared Rice); great-nephews and great-nieces; Jacob Renn (Kelsey), Griffin Fisher, Abbie Stitley, Devin Clark, Gabe Stitley, Josie Renn, Jade Smith, Hank Smith, Athena Strong and Valeria Strong, and other nephews, nieces, and cousins; sisters-in-law, Judy Rice, Cynthian Ropp, Pamela Martin, Ramona Ridgely, Coral Keller and brothers-in-law, Charles Winpigler (Peggy), Hubert Winpigler (Sis), Dave Winpigler (Carole), Bion Winpigler (Billie), and Shawn Winpigler (Becky).

Betty was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Butch Stitley, Jim Strong and other brothers and sisters-in-law.

Betty loved watching Adrian and all the family play sports over the years. She especially loved helping take care of the nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Betty, also loved meeting with her different social groups: The Telephone Pioneers, POOF, The Cancer Survivor Group, and The Girls of FHS ’64. She retired from Verizon after 33 years of service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hegazi, Dr. Rosenshein, Dr. Armstrong and Pat Fischer.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Friday, October 12 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 705 W. Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, October 13 at Trinity United Methodist Church at the above address. Rev. Dr. Eliezer Valentin-Castanon will officiate. Interment will be private.
