Joyce Marie Gregoire

July 12, 1926 — October 14, 2018

Mrs. Joyce Marie Wastler Gregoire, 92, of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Frederick. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Gregoire. Born in Frederick on July 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Elias Jacobs and Marie Bair Wastler.
Joyce was a homemaker for most of her life and had taught Kindergarten for several years for Federated Charities. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, the Auxiliary of the Francis Scott Key American Legion. and NARFE.
Surviving are her children, Sherri G. Bowman and husband David, of New Market and Gary Gregoire and wife Sharon, of Middletown, grandchildren, Marisa Lynn Hombach and husband Michael, Ryan N. Gregoire, Lydia M. Kowalski and husband Phillip and great grandchildren, David M., Jonathan M. and Benjamin S. Hombach, and Isbella D. Kowalski. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wastler.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Sunrise Assisted Living and Carroll Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Rev. Jennifer Smith, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
