Margaret Boyle Brogan

Mrs. Margaret Boyle Brogan, 92, of Frederick, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Glade Valley Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late James Brogan, who preceded her in death in 1973.

Born July 4, 1926 in Hazleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McGlynn) Boyle.

Margaret is survived by her children, Tim Brogan and Jane Brogan, daughter-in-law, Liz Brogan, grandchildren, Nich Yount and wife Rebecca, Melissa Hill and husband Roland, Patrick Brogan and wife Amanda, Meg Brogan and Katie Cole and husband Todd, great-grandchildren, Laylah Hill and Nora Cole, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her sons, Jim Brogan and Thomas Brogan.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Interment will be at 1:00PM, on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Calvary Cemetery, Hazleton, PA.
