Mrs. Mary Alice Rodda, 86, of Spring Ridge, formerly of Bethesda, died on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Homewood Retirement Center, Frederick. She was the wife of the late Fred M. Rodda.
Born May 19, 1932, in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Herman Leannarda. Mrs. Rodda worked as an administrative specialist at Suburban Hospital, for over 20 years. She enjoyed drawing and cross word puzzles; music and dancing and always loved traveling to Ocean City, MD.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Lively and husband David, of Spring Ridge, a daughter-in-law, Marie Scott, of Daytona Beach, FL; one brother, Frank Leannarda, of Severna Park; grandchildren, Robert and wife April, Patty and husband Ian, Katelyn, Ray and William; and great-grandchildren, Conor, Trinity, Devon, Timmy, Steven and Ray. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Mike Thomas and Kathy Leannarda and was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dee Leannarda.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Wm. Scott; two brothers, Bob and Charlie Leannarda; and a granddaughter, Katherine Lively.
Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 3 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum, 515 South Market Street, Frederick. Inurnment will take place in the mausoleum.
