Mrs. Elizabeth Anne "Lisa" Jackson, 66, of Walkersville, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at the Kline Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Robert Joseph "Joey" Jackson, who died May 17, 2013. They had been married 42 years. Born in Washington, DC, on September 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late George Francis and Evelyn Dow Quinn.
Lisa was a registered nurse and and worked for nearly 30 years with the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She had a great love for her entire family, many friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren, She enjoyed hiking and making and giving her pottery pieces.
Surviving are her children, Natalie M. Ganley and husband Sean, Matthew J. Jackson and wife Kimberly, and Bridgett Jackson and husband Mark Whalen, seven grandchildren, Chase, Audrey, Austin, Anna, Claire, Kaydance and Lakin,, and her nine siblings, Kathleen Quinn-Wild, David Quinn and Betsy, Jeffrey Quinn, Terry Quinn and Doris, Mark Quinn and Mary Ellen, Janine Quinn and David Fralio, Marcy Quinn, Maureen Quinn, Michael Quinn and Sara, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
