Melissa Marie Shadoan Lindemann

July 7, 1972 — November 14, 2018

Melissa Marie Shadoan Lindemann, age 46, of New Market, Maryland passed suddenly of a heart attack, Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Born July 7, 1972 in Washington, D.C., she was the beloved wife to Sean Michael Lindemann.

Melissa was an accomplished hair stylist. Having started in her teens
shampooing hair, she would spend the next thirty years mastering her craft. She never stopped learning new things, going back to college over the last several years, earning a humanities award when she graduated with her Associate in Arts degree and was just several credits shy of earning a Bachelors degree.

She will be most remembered for a sense of empathy for others. Melissa was willing to help anyone in need, truly dedicating herself to those around her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Ryan Christopher Shadoan and Hannah Isabella Lindemann, her mother Judy Ann Greaver, her brother Christopher J. Greaver, her uncle Michael J Wilson, nieces and nephews Zachary, Jordan, and Carly Greaver, sister in law Ellen Marie Greaver, and extended family Karin, John, Blake, and Brenden Shadoan.

The family will receive friends and family at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701, on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4 – 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 East 2 nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at 11am. Interment will be private.
