Paul William Morgan Sr.

June 21, 1942 — November 25, 2018

Mr. Paul William Morgan, Sr., 76, of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Victoria Jean "Vicky" Baker Morgan. She died on September 5, 2011. Born in Carroll County on June 21, 1942, he was a son of the late Charles Albert and Irene Virginia Ibex Morgan.
Paul worked for many years as a truck driver, having worked for Genstar, Remsberg and more recent with Pleasant Company. He was a member of the Frederick Moose Lodge and the Eagles in Brunswick. Paul was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to races in Dover, DE and also to the Mason-Dixon Speedway for drag racing. He and his wife loved camping  at their site in Gettysburg, PA. He will be missed by his dog Ruthie.
Surviving are his children, Paul W. Morgan, Jr. and Julie, of Goose Creek, SC, Howard L. Morgan and Terri, of Urbana, and Catherine "Katie" Drennan and Jeff, of Brunswick, siblings, Charles A. Morgan. Jr., Gloria Clinton, Ann "Lizzie" Renner and Gene, Bertha Palio, and his cousin like a sister, Mary Riggs, grandchildren, Michaela Morgan and Jason, Kallie Harrison, Jackson Drennan, Paul W. Morgan III, JR Graham and Heather, and great grandchildren, Juliana and Ryker. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Morgan Wells.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery, Libertytown.
