Faye Troupe Burtner

Faye Troupe Burtner, 90, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Born in Frederick on February 25, 1928 to the late Charles and Edna (nee Beard) Troupe. She was the beloved wife to the late Robert Lee Burtner.

Faye was active in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed seeing them grow up. She also cared for her dog Sambo who became a companion to her after the passing of her husband.

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church. Faye also enjoyed going to the beach as well as the casino.

She is survived by; her children Patricia A. Knill (Douglas), Ronnie L. Burtner (Janet), and Steven J. Burtner (Donna), grandchildren; Frank E. Storm, Daniel L. Storm, Justin M. Burtner, Stephanie N. Burtner, Abby R. Manuel, Erin L. Doughty, Casey F. McMunn, and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Jane Fagan, Doris Troupe, Betty Wise, and Robert Troupe.

Family and Friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 10 am until the start of the funeral service at 11 am. Burial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701
