David Michael Vernot

David Michael Vernot, age 52, was tragically taken from his loved ones and friends on November 27, 2018, in Ohio. He was born on April 30, 1966 in Drexel Hill, PA. He was the son of David and Patricia Vernot of Frederick, MD. David grew up in Olney, MD and graduated from Sherwood High School in 1984. He had worked in the construction business for many years. He currently owned and operated his own trucking business with his significant other. Life took him to live in many places and he finally resided in Punxsutawney, PA. David was a hardworking provider for his family. He was a kind and generous person that would help anyone in need. He was a spiritual person. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He adored all of his dogs. He had a passion for music and played the drums for many bands. He loved working out and boxing. He was a master at building and fixing anything. He loved his Ford trucks and riding motorcycles. He was a true patriot and loved his country. He loved the family vacations to Bethany Beach, DE and Ocean City, NJ, while growing up. He is survived by his best friend and significant other, Terri Milliron; his parents, David and Patricia Vernot; his daughter, Mary Theresa Vernot-Oritz (Jimmy) of Hampstead, MD; his son, John Parker Vernot (Chelsea) of Lakewood, WA; his sister, Janine Marie Vernot, of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Jayden, Riley, Grayson, Evelyn and Xander; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Elizabeth Marie Vernot and his maternal and paternal grandparents. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick. Rev. John Streifel, will officiate. Interment will be private. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, MD.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund for helping with expenses for Terri L.
