Gloria Irene Hoffman

Mrs. Gloria Irene Hoffman, 89, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles David Hoffman, who died November 28, 1995. Born in Frederick on April 23, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Mary Rison Jones Morgan.
Gloria was retired after 37 years with the C & P Telephone. She was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1946. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Maryland Telephone Pioneers of American.
Gloria is survived by several nieces and nephews, including nephew, Jerry Soper and wife Patsy. She will also be missed by neighbor and caregiver, Bill Ashton. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, December 28, 2018, in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Those wishing to attend should meet inside the main gate by 10:45. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home
